About Tri Delta
Tri Delta was founded by women, for women, in 1888 at Boston University when our Founders bravely created a new organization that would “think more of a woman’s inner character than her outward appearance.” Their vision has grown into the dynamic women’s organization we know today.
Today, Tri Delta is a network of nearly 250,000 women, and we are committed to lifelong learning through educational initiatives, transformational programming and relevant personal and professional development.
From supporting Tri Delta’s Foundation—which empowers collegiate and alumnae members through transformational programs, scholarships and emergency financial support—to supporting the life-saving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and local children’s cancer charities, Tri Deltas are passionate about serving others.

About Our Chapter
The Champaign-Urbana Alumnae Chapter began April 1st, 1926 and continues to focus on the Purpose of Delta Delta Delta.
Our chapter goals include:
1. Increase membership and financial commitment through active planning of events that interest our members and potential new members in the area. We hold a couple activities each quarter, and attempt to support local, women-owned businesses.
2. Develop meaningful philanthropic experiences through "Let's Do Lunch" fundraiser for Cunningham Children's Home, support for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as well as other local community needs.
3. Increase alumnae participation at meetings and advising to Delta Pi and Epsilon Gamma collegiate chapters by planning meetings with multiple purposes, like social and philanthropy or business meeting with collegiate event.
